Avocados

Any way you slice it, avocado instantly boosts your nutrient intake. An Ohio State University study found that people who ate a salad containing it got seven times as much vision-protecting lutein and nearly 18 times the cancer-fighting beta carotene as those who had the same greens sans the avocado. Its fat content (7 grams of monounstaturated fat per one-third cup) may be responsible, say reserachers.

Guacamole anyone?
