Denial is Not The Best Route

Filed Under (Diet Tips) by Isabel on 08-23-2007

We all know approximately being on the “rebound,” and sometimes when we are on the rebound we don’t assemble the healthiest choices. I am not talking approximately dating here. No, I am talking approximately food.

Often, when dieting, citizens deny themselves their favorite foods, since most folks don’t list the antioxidant rich, low calorie Brussels Sprout as their fave. Dieters think they need to completely cut out chocolate, wine, french fries and pizza - their favorite foods. When they finally succumb to their craving, they tend to by indulge and really throw their efforts off track. Yep, rebound eating - it can be naughty news.

So, instead of cutting out the fattening foods you love completely, memorize to eat them in moderation. You can lose weight and eat your cake too. perhaps not a huge slice, possibly just a few bites, but a few bites can really satisfy a craving. So be a slim shopper, buy a snack size
of your favorite potato chips instead of a party sized bag or hit up the bulk bin for just a handful of sweet instead of bringing a huge bag of sweets into your domestic.

Enjoy your indulgence. Eat slowly and really chew your food. Go crazy and meditate on the taste of your favorite food. Just don’t deny yourself the foods you love and memorize to eat them in moderation to avoid the rebound!
