I find many different things when searching for content to post on this site. Today, I came across a chart that represents how obesity has grown over the last 20 years in the United States. It’s actually quite scary, although I’m not sure how accurate it truly is.

Nevertheless, I think it is important to view, so we all understand the growing epidemic of Obesity in the United States. Below is the figure.

Prevalence of Obesity in the United States (1985 - 2006)

The data is based on the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS), a random-digit dialed telephone survey of adults in the United States. This data is courtesy of the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
